Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small files that websites store in your browser. Local storage and session storage work in a similar way. The Dice Roller sets no cookies at all and uses no analytics or advertising services. It uses two browser-storage items, listed below.

Categories
Strictly necessary
Remembers your answer to the cookie banner so it is not shown on every page. Without it the site cannot respect your choice. This item is always on.
Functional
Off unless you accept it. When on, choosing D100 on a die-size page leaves a one-time note in session storage so the homepage opens with D100 selected; the homepage deletes the note as soon as it reads it. When off, the D100 link simply opens the homepage with its default D6.
Analytics
Not used. The site does not measure visits with analytics tools.
Advertising
Not used. The site shows no advertising and does not track you across websites.
Changing or withdrawing consent
You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings button below or in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent stops functional storage immediately and removes any note it left.
Browser controls
You can also delete stored data and block storage in your browser settings, usually under privacy or site data. If you block local storage, the site will ask for your choice again on each visit.
