A little chance. A new possibility.
Disclaimer
What the dice tools are designed for, and where you should not rely on them.
Made for games, learning and quick choices
The Dice Roller is built for tabletop and board games, classroom exercises and everyday random picks. Results are generated with your browser's cryptographic random number generator and unbiased rejection sampling, as explained in the dice rolling guide.
Not for gambling or real-money decisions
Do not use the tools to settle bets or make decisions involving money. Random results cannot be predicted, past results do not change future chances, and no pattern in a short run of rolls can be used to gain an advantage.
Not for security codes or official draws
The tools have not been independently audited or certified. Do not use them to create passwords or security codes, to run prize draws, lotteries or raffles, or for any selection that must be verifiable by a third party. Results are not recorded anywhere outside your browser tab, so they cannot be proven afterwards.
Game rules and publishers
Descriptions of advantage, disadvantage and ability-score rolls are paraphrased summaries of ordinary dice mechanics, not official rules text. The Dice Roller is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any game publisher. Game names belong to their owners and are mentioned only to describe how a tool might be used. Always follow the rules your table uses.
Probabilities and averages
Ranges, averages and probability tables describe fair dice over many rolls. They are exact calculations, not predictions about your next roll. A small number of rolls can look uneven without anything being wrong.
